7-Day Future Self Challenge

It’s Week 12 of the 90-Day New Page Challenge!

Before we get into this week, how did Week 11 go? Did you have a no-spend day? Fix something instead of buying a replacement? Maybe even visit the library and remember that it’s been sitting there, free and full of good things, this whole time? And maybe found a great book to read through the Libby app, too.

Now. Let’s talk about Week 12.

We’re Almost There.

Twelve weeks in. Second to last week of the 90-Day New Page Challenge.

Take a second and actually let that sink in.

Twelve weeks ago, you decided to show up for yourself. You tackled your schedule, your food, your clutter, your finances, your relationships, your body, and your mindset, one small, imperfect, 1%-better week at a time.

And now, before we cross the finish line next week, we have one very important thing left to do.

Look up.

Not at the to-do list. Not at next Tuesday. All the way up, at where you’re headed, what you want your life to look like, and who you’re becoming on the way there.

Week 12 is about your future self.

Why This Week Matters

Here’s something I believe with my whole heart: the people who end up living lives they actually love are not smarter, luckier, or more talented than the rest of us. They just got intentional about where they were going.

They wrote it down. They made a plan. They decided what they wanted instead of just letting life happen to them and hoping it turned out okay.

And this week, that’s what we’re doing.

Not in a complicated, overwhelming, build-a-ten-year-roadmap kind of way. Just in a “sit down, get quiet, and actually think about what you want next” kind of way.

Because here’s what I’ve noticed over these twelve weeks: when you start clearing the clutter—physical clutter, mental clutter, financial clutter, relational clutter—you create space. And that space? It needs to be filled with something intentional. Something you actually chose. Otherwise, life just fills it back up with busyness, noise, and other people’s priorities.

This week, we’re filling it with vision. With goals. With a clear picture of where you’re headed and how you’re going to get there.

Week 12 Nudges — Pick a Few and Actually Do Them

Same rules as always: pick two or three, actually do them, and feel like a person with a real and actual future they’re excited about.

Write 3 summer goals: Grab a piece of paper and write down three things you actually want to accomplish or experience this summer. Not vague aspirations, specific goals. Doable. Written down where you’ll actually see them. Summer has a way of slipping by in a blur while we keep meaning to do the things we actually wanted to do. Not this year. Write the goals. Make them real.

Identify one income idea: This one is for the part of you that has had a little voice in the back of your head saying, “I could probably do something with that.” A skill you have. A service you could offer. Something you know how to do that other people would pay for. You don’t have to launch a business this week. You just have to write down one idea and sit with it. What could you do? What do people ask you for help with? What comes naturally to you that feels hard to others? Write it down. That’s the first step. Need inspiration? Check out this blog post on identifying a side hustle and this one on ideas for a side hustle.

Update your calendar intentionally: Open your calendar and look at the next 30 to 90 days. Is it filled with things you actually chose and want to do, or did your schedule just happen to you while you weren’t paying attention? This week, add the things that matter: the family time, the personal goals, the rest, the fun, the things you keep meaning to get to. Block it out before someone else fills it. Your time is yours. Treat it like it. Don’t have a calendar? Use my free printable on my block scheduling system.

Make a vision board page: This doesn’t have to be a giant Pinterest production with a poster board, a glue gun, and an afternoon set aside. Just one page. Pull up Pinterest or flip through a magazine and find images, words, and ideas that represent what you want your life to look and feel like in the next season. Print them, cut them, arrange them, save them. Put it somewhere you’ll see it. Your brain moves toward what it focuses on. Give it something worth moving toward.

Ready to Level Up? Here’s Your Bonus Challenge:

If you’re feeling ambitious this week, try the Level Up Challenge:

Write a 90-day plan for next season.

You just spent 90 days getting 1% better every week. You know what that feels like now. You know what’s possible when you show up consistently and do small things on purpose.

So what’s next?

Sit down and map out the next 90 days. What do you want to work on? What areas of your life need the most attention? What does the next version of you look like, and what does she need to do to get there?

It doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be as simple as: here are my three big focus areas, here are the small weekly actions I’m going to take, and here is what I’m committing to for the next season.

Write it down. Date it. Put it somewhere you’ll see it.

Because here’s what the last 90 days have taught me: you are more capable of change than you thought you were when you started. You have proven that small things done consistently actually work. You have built habits, cleared space, and invested in yourself and the people around you in ways that are real and lasting.

Don’t stop now.

The next 90 days are waiting. Make a plan for them.
